ACCOUNTABILITY COACHING PLANS

Telephone and Email Coaching to Keep You on Track

Do you have trouble maintaining a long-term commitment to better habits? Do you procrastinate or fall behind on plans and projects? Would you like some help staying on track? That’s what this service is all about. You can do it by phone or by email. You can choose your own schedule for “reporting in.”

Each option below is a three-month program that helps you stay on track with your goals, hold yourself accountable, and succeed at what matters to you. We are with you to support you and empower you. You can renew your three month plan as often as you wish, or even switch to another plan.

You decide if you want coaching via email via telephone and select a daily schedule, a weekly schedule, or a monthly check-in coaching call. If you are on track with your objectives, just report in, something like this,

“Hi, This is _______ and I’m reporting in. I’m on track today and fulfilling my commitment to ______ (not smoke, exercise, make sales calls, clean up my room, etc.).” If you are NOT on track, say “This is ________ and I’m not doing as well as I planned. I’d like to schedule an optional coaching session. The best times to call me back are: ________________.” Your Motivational Strategies coach will contact you and schedule a problem-solving coaching session within the week. You and your coach will discuss what went right, what went wrong, what adjustments to make, how to get back on track, and how to renew your commitment.

Options:

A. Daily Report in Plan (includes one optional 20-minute coaching session per week.): Daily means five times a week.

B. Weekly Report in Plan (includes two optional 30-minute coaching sessions per month.): Weekly means once a week.

C. Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly 30-minute Coaching Calls: You don’t have to report-in at all. You just schedule a weekly, biweekly or monthly 30-minute coaching call with the Motivational Strategies coach to discuss your progress, sticking points, and next steps as you make progress toward your objectives. You can choose from your three-month plan for weekly, biweekly, or monthly calls.

The Value of Accountability

With an accountability plan, you have someone on your “team” to keep you focused, encouraged, and aware of your priorities. Your coach will support you in your accomplishments, engage you in problem solving, help you figure out what’s working and what’s not, and assist you in charting each step in your progress. With an accountability plan you have a commitment to a result, an investment in yourself, and someone whose job is to help you accomplish that result.

Your Next Steps

1. Decide your outcome---it might be to maintain a new behavior (example: exercise every day) or to complete a series of varied tasks (example: clean and organize your closets), or a project that requires several sequential milestones, subtasks and target dates for completion. If you want help making a project plan, we can do that too, before you begin the coaching plan.
